When Galoob was still a strong toymaker, they introduced their popular Micro Machines line of toys. Initially this line was limited to miniature toys and playsets based on real world vehicles and locations, but in 1993 or 1994 they branched out to making toys and playsets based on Star Wars vehicles and locations. They made many different styles of playsets and many different vehicles, but eventually the Micro Machines line was cancelled and no more toys in that scale were produced until the launch of the Titanium Series in 2005.
