To reflect the regal elegance and formality of Queen Amidala, I wanted the design of the Royal Starship to evoke the classic style of chrome hood ornaments from the 1950s. The gleaming finish and sleek body design with twin stabilizing fins embody the sophisticated craftsmanship common to Naboo's culture. The off-set cockpit is my tribute to the Millennium Falcon's cockpit. D. Chiang

Royal Starship This spacecraft of Queen Amidala reflects the sleek and elegant design distinctive to Naboo engineering. A mirrored chromium finish covers the entire surface. Its primary mission is to carry the Queen on formal state visits to other planets. In keeping with the Naboo philosophy of peace, the Royal Starship is completely unarmed.
