Long before the vehicles of the Star Wars saga entered into battle in a galaxy far, far away, concept artists illustrated many versions. For each film in the Star Wars trilogy, rough sketches for the vehicles were refined and perfected. Series Alpha gives you a glimpse of the imaginative contribution of these artists and designers. A booklet with sketches by the original artists is included in each package, along with the concept vehicle and its final design.

Twin-Pod Cloud Car

Cloud cars are upper-atmosphere craft that are closer to starships than to traditional airspeeders. Manufactured chiefly by Bespin Motors on Cloud City, these ion engine propelled craft can reach speeds of up to 1,500 kilometers per hour. Cloud cars are used for patrol and reconnaissance duty as well as for sight-seeing and travel.

Cloud Car Pilot
Cloud car pilots sit in the port pod of the cloud car and guide these versatile craft on both military and civilian missions.
