I saw this item on eBay and I just had to have it. I had never seen a gold Darth Vader's TIE Fighter in the Action Fleet line before, so at first I thought it was a very limited item. When I looked at pictures of it I could see that it was a very low quality knock-off.

This is a Mexican bootleg that doesn't even try to pretend to be something else. It appears to be made from the exact same mold that the Action Fleet Darth Vader's TIE is made from. Either that, or someone used the original plastic toy to make a new mold that this was made from. The manufacturers didn't even bother to remove the Lucasfilm and Galoob trademarks that appeared on the original. This is the first Action Fleet bootleg that I've ever seen, and so I just had to have it.
