Quinlan Vos has been running many small miniscule errands for Count Dooku since his apparent defection, and he is frustrated at his inability to penetrate Dooku's inner circle. Dooku decides to test Vos to see if he has really gone over to the Dark Side, and Vos passes his tests while still being true to the Jedi Code. Things come to a head though when Dooku orders the death of Sheyf Tinté. Vos blows his cover to save her life, and Dooku helps him realize that the death of his parents was orchestrated by Tinté. After killing her himself, Vos is now well on his way to the Dark Side.
