The Hutts Jabba, Embra and Malta are discussing the results of the recent events on Ylesia that left the Besadii clan ruined and they eventually begin arguing about whos emethods are best for getting what they want. Malta's majordomo, Jozzel Moffett, suggests that a race to recover the fabled Yavin Vassilika could be a perfect chance for the three of them to learn whose methods are best. When asked how she knows it's not just a myth, she tells them that Garindan found someone named Webble who had seen it, but he was dismissed as a raving lunatic by everyone else. The Hutts agree to the race and separate to hire their hunters, three each. Jabba favors deception and hires Han Solo and Chewbacca, as well as Lando Calrissian without telling them about each other. He then hires Boba Fett as well for an unknown purpose. Malta hires the bounty hunters IG-88, Bossk and Dengar, and then Jozzel offers them double if they give the Vassilika to her and she will give them a perfect forgery to give to Malta. Meanwhile, Embra hires Zuckuss, 4-LOM and Sardu Sallowe, giving them all the information he has, hoping to prove that his methods are the best. At Crevasse City on the planet Kalkovak Han and Chewie follow the trail of Webble and learn that he made it to Mon Calamari before being dropped when they find Greedo following them, hoping to steal the treasure and prove his worth to Jabba. Just then, they are attacked by Bossk and Dengar, who have let their anger at Han and Chewie override their common sense. Meanwhile, Jozzel has found Lando and offers him the same deal she offered Malta's hunters. As Han, Chewie and Greedo are running from their pursuers, they run into Boba Fett, and assuming he is after them as well run another way, where they run into Jozzel and Lando. Jozzel and Lando join Han, Chewie and Greedo on the Millennium Falcon, and they race the other teams to Mon Calamari. On Mon Calamari, they find the place where Webble died, but luckily for them his consciusness merged with the Bank and they were able to get the location of the planet where he found the Vassilika, but not before another clash between the three teams.of hunters. The first team to make it to the planet with the Vassilika is Zuckuss' team. 4-LOM goes into the village and is ignored until he tries to touch the relic, and is attacked and disabled. The next team to arrive is Han's and they get a slightly different reaction, until Jozzel attempts to grab the Vassilika, and then they are attacked and made prisoners. 4-LOM tells them they are all to be executed, but just then Boba Fett arrives and frees them all. Turns out he was hired to protect Han while he finds the treasure. The last team finally arrives and in the ensuing chaos, Jozzel acquires the treasure and disappears with the Millennium Falcon. Sardu tells them that she indicated she was going to Yavin to meet her buyer, so they race to be the first one to find her, while she meets with her buyers, the Rebel Alliance, who pay her with 4 million credits and a perfect forgery to give to Malta. The hunters arrive and Han and Lando learn that one of the Rebels is Bria Tharen. With the Rebels 4 million credits up for grabs, Zuckuss posts a bounty on Dengar and Bossk, causing IG-88 to attack them, resulting in chaos once again. One of Sardu's Jawas grabs the cash and runs while Greedo chases him, while the rest of Han's team chases down the Rebels. They demand the remaining 10 million from the Besadii heist but are told it was already spent on building the rebellion. When they demand the treasure, the Rebel drops it, revealing a key to a Massassi temple on Yavin explaining that it holds great strategic value to them. Meanwhile, Greedo catches the fleeing Jawa, but as he gloats over the money, Jozzel arrives to take it from him. She is then gunned down by Farquil Ban'n, Embra's majordomo, who gives the treasure to Zuckuss and Sardu before leaving with the money. With the help of the Rebels, Han's team captures Dengar and Bossk for the bounty on their heads, which doesn't even begin to cover the amount they feel they deserve after Ylesia. Later, elsewhere, Farquil is laying on a beach and contacts Embra to quit. When she disconnects the call, she finds Boba Fett standing over her, claiming the money she holds belongs to Jabba.
