The Han Solo Trilogy 3: Rebel Dawn (Pages 375-389)
Cover Artist: Drew Struzan
On Toprawa Bria is leading her troops against heavy resistance to steal plans to the Empire's secret weapon. They are successful and transmit the plans to Tantive IV which was passing through the system "accidentally". Unfortunately, the system is heavily interdicted and there is no way for any of them to be rescued, so they prepare for the worst as the Imperial forces move in to finish them off. On Tatooine, Han is trying to see Jabba so he can convince him to give him another chance, when he is apprehended by Boba Fett. Fett tells him that he is there because he promised Bria that he would get a message to her father if she died but she doesn't know his name. Therefore he looked up Han so that he could pass on the message, and Han agrees. The next day, after he sent the message, he went to Chalmun's cantina where he learns that Chewie has found a nice easy charter for them, which should pay enough to repay Jabba. Pleased, he turns towards the table and his destiny.
