Kardue'sai'Malloc, also known as the Butcher of Montellian Serat, but more currently known as Labria, lives in hiding on Tatooine. For years after he had the Rebel inhabitants of Montellian Serat slaughtered while the city was destroyed, he followed great musicians from planet to planet, hoping to hear them perform. When he heard that one of his favorites had been killed on the planet he was just about to go to, he just stopped on Tatooine, and had been there ever since. When he learned that Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes were coming to Tatooine to play for Jabba the Hutt, he tried unsuccessfully to get an invitation to the palace to hear them play. Several weeks later, hearing that Lady Valarian was about to get married, he arranged to have her invite them to play at her wedding and then informed Jabba that his band was gone. Recruiting Wuher's help, he got them a gig playing at Chalmun's cantina when the inevitable happened, and settled in to hear them play on the day that Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker came through.
