Greedo and his younger brother Pqweeduk are exploring their jungle home when they come across three hidden starships. Greedo asks his mother Neela what they are for and Neela tells him about his father the bounty hunter who was killed because he didn't follow the same bloodthirsty tradition of the Rodian people. With his death, the remainder of his clan fled Rodia, hoping they would be able to remain hidden. Only a month after Greedo found the ships, the clan that slaughtered theirs arrived and killed many of them before the rest could escape to Nar Shaddaa.
