Jabba the Hutt travels to a business ceremony called a Jubjub between himself and the Gaar, where they engage in a series of bargaining with neither getting the upper hand over the other, but neither getting what they really want either. In the end, it is one death threat too many against Jabba, and he reveals that the Gaar once went by the name Sonopo Bomoor. Upon hearing this, an explosives expert named Kosh Kurp assaults the Gaar in retaliation for atrocities committed against his family when he was a child. With the Gaar dead, Jabba elevates Kosh Kurp to the Gaar's previous position and they are off to their next rendezvous.
