Millennium Falcon (Pages 3-8)
Cover Artist: John Van Fleet
The Corellian Engineering Corporation has developed a new, top of the line, modular freighter. Demand for the YT-1300 has exceeded expectations so much that the factories are finding it a real challenge to manufacture the freighter fast enough. On one production line, a fuel droid attached to YT 492727ZED experiences a malfunction and fails to disengage in time. By the time the droid is disconnected from the ship, it's fuels cells are at the breaking point and it starts to malfunction. The freighter runs wild, creating havok and mayhem in its path, until a crew is able to board the ship and bring it under control. With the crisis averted, one of the technicians comments that they have witnessed a hero's birth.
