This is part of a small series of stories written in honor of Chewbacca after he died saving Anakin Solo in Vector Prime.

This chapter tells the story of a Trandoshan slave trader who kept his wookiee slaves prisoner by keeping them fighting with each other. All of that changes when Chewbacca is brought aboard the ship and convinces the other wookiees to put aside their diferences temporarily until they can escape.
