Obi-Wan Kenobi is sent to Kamino because the Jedi have learned of a confederate plot to steal the genetic sample of Jango Fett. They have sent the Zeltron bounty hunter Vianna D'Pow to steal the material and Obi-Wan catches her before she can get away. They fight over the genetic material until Vianna escapes and Obi-Wan retrieves the sample. The Kaminoans tried to stop him at first because she had come to place an order for a clone of herself. Being an albino Zeltron meant she had nowhere for her natural desire for love to express itself, so she ordered a clone of herself so she wouldn't have to be alone anymore.
