A Republic Commando is reporting the details of his most recent mission to Yoda and Mace Windu. His team was escorting a Director Oviedo back to Coruscant when they came under attack. Half of the escort was killed almost immediately and the other half covered Oviedo's ship as they went down. Several troopers escaped the second ship before it was destroyed, and left to complete their mission. They found Oviedo's ship relatively unharmed, but everyone on board was killed, execution style. They leave the ship to find Oviedo, and overhear him planning to betray the Republic. They recover Oviedo and manage to return him to Coruscant, even though all but one of the clones was killed doing it.
