Biggs Darklighter manages to get seats for himself and and Luke Skywalker aboard a freighter going to the moon. Luke is beside himself with excitement, and every little thing that happens during liftoff only feeds his excitement. Tragedy strike though when the shields overheat and shutoff, causing other problems. Everyone is panicking, but Luke manages to keep a level head and goes to the the cockpit. Displaying an affinity for mechanical devices similar to his fathers he manages to fix the problem so their trip can continue, but the pilot decides to land so as not to risk the lives of all the passengers. Despite being hailed as a hero by all the passengers, Luke drags himself home dejectedly where Uncle Owen has more chores for him to do.
