Princess Leia Organa is on her visit to Coruscant, the Imperial Capital. She begs her father to let her do some sightseeing, as he agrees as long as she takes some guards with her. After a day of exploration, she decides she want to get something to eat at the nearest diner. At the diner, she witnesses a Caamasi being barred from eating simply because he is a different species. As he protests his treatment, the Stormtroopers beat him up and arrest him and then threatens Leia with the same treatment if she doesn't leave quietly. Back with her father, Leia rants about how the treatment the Caamasi received and resolves to talk to the Emperor about it. Later that evening, Leia actually gets the chance to meet the Emperor and realizes how evil he actually is. Afterwards, she's talking to her father and he tells her that he arranged to have the Caamasi released. She goes down to meet him, he introduces himself as Eg'ros Akala, and tells her that her kindness will not soon be forgotten.
