A young Obi-Wan Kenobi is afraid of disappointing his Master, Qui-Gon Jinn. Qui-Gon relates a myth that explains why a Jedi shouldn't give in to intense emotion. He tells about Jedi twins who were very close to their Master and each other. One of the twins met a young lady and fell in love with her and the other twin began to experience jealousy. They had a falling out, and in their anger they accidentally killed their Master. Their rage spiraled out of control until it destroyed the planet and everyone on it, turning it into a star where the twins are supposedly still fighting at the heart of it to this very day.
