Six weeks before the Battle of Naboo, the pirate Nym has been captured by the Trade Federation and is awaiting the arrival of their torturers. To pass the time, he recounts the events leading up to his capture to a fellow prisoner. He had stolen some experimental weapons from the Trade Federation and was having a difficult time getting rid of them. He finally had a chance to sell them somewhere, but he was set up and his crew were jettisoned in an escape pod. He finishes telling his story just as the torturers show up for him, and we see that they are his crew in disguise.
