A young man named Ian Lago meets Amidala shortly before she is elected Queen of Naboo and falls madly in love with her. Unfortunately for him, Amidala is too devoted and committed to the people of Naboo to be able to make room in her life for any one person. By this point, Ian has burned any bridges and there is nothing left for him but to board the next tramp freighter and leave his rejection behind.
