Leia Organa is leading a small scout team of herself, Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles to Dominus III, searching for a location for the new Rebel base. Shortly after they arrive, they are attacked by a Star Destroyer and it's TIE's, leading them to believe that there is a spy in their organization. Leia is forced down to the surface, where she kills the TIE pilot that chased her, and shortly after, they leave to return to the fleet. Back at the fleet, Mon Mothma takes her aside and tells her that she is now in charge of creating a special task force dedicated to finding either a new location for a base, the spy, or both. While all this is happening, Han Solo is out helping the Alliance with supplies when he is intercepted by Slave I and another Star Destroyer. Making his escape, he moves on to the next rendezvous point, Coruscant. After some time spent reviewing records, Leia forms her 9 person team, including Luke and Wedge, and they move to their new quarters, near their new X-wings, and cut off from the rest of the fleet. After some training, Luke is grounded for second-guessing one of Leia's orders, as is another pilot named Prithi, who Luke had to rescue. On Coruscant, Han meets with his contact to buy weapons, and discovers that he has been sold out and has to shoot his way free, taking the Millennium Falcon deep into the Coruscant underworld. Leia meets up with Mon Mothma to tell her that her team is secure and ready and that she wants to start leaking information in order to draw out the spy. Elsewhere, Vader has been relieved of his command and sent to oversee the construction of the second Death Star, and his replacement, Colonel Bircher, has the location of the Rebels. As all of Leia's team except Luke and Prithi head out, Luke receives a communication from the spirit of Ben Kenobi warning him of danger to Leia, and is surprised when Prithi asks him who was talking to him. At Pybus, Leia and her group are exploring when a Star Destroyer shows up with an Interdictor cruiser and attacks them. Surprised but not defeated, the rebels manage to disable Bircher's Interdictor and escape, but they are followed by an advanced TIE Bomber which detonates near Leia's X-wing. Having received a warning from the spirit of Ben Kenobi that Leia was in danger, Luke Skywalker and Prithi leave to follow her. Leia tries to send Wedge and Tess away and inform Mon Mothma that the leak is coming from Leia's personal files and save their own lives, but they refuse and determine to rescue her. At Endor, Darth Vader determines that Luke is the greatest threat to the Empire and so appoints Birra Seah to the rank of Acting Moff while he leaves to hunt Luke down. As Leia, Wedge and Tess try to prepare an escape from the Imperials before they arrive, Luke and Prithi arrive to help. Using the fusion reactor from Leia's damaged ship, they set a trap. Bircher's forces arrive and Rebels explode Leia's reactor, destroying the Interdictor and causing the rest to retreat while they return to the fleet and Leia is placed in bacta to heal. In a debriefing, Mon Mothma raises Wedge's and Luke security clearance and promotes them to commander and lieutenant respectively. She informs them all about Leia's mission and about her concerns regarding Han's disappearance
