After the betrayal by Jorin Sol, Rebel One has been on the run until their hyperdrive finally fails completely. They notice that they have arrived at Bannistar Station, one of the Empire's main refueling stations. Realizing there is no way they will make it out alive in their ship, the civilians flee in whatever transports they can find , while Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Deena Shan, Basso and Able lead a team to try and damage the station. Most of the teams are caught, but Luke distracts his team long enough to allow Deena to escape. While they are on the command deck being interrogated, the Imperial commander D'vox sends one of his enforcers after Deena. She manages to escape his clutches, but as she runs she finds herself backed into a corner. At that moment, she finds it inside her to do what needs to be done, and throws her last detonator into the fuel tank beneath her. It makes its way to the connecting link with the nearby Star Destroyer, which is destroyed when the detonator explodes. In the confusion, the rest of the Rebels are able to make their escape and they make a pass around the station, finding Deena hanging there. With the help of Dagger Squadron and their new B-wings, the Rebels escape and return to the fleet with the news of an upcoming strike at Ansion that Deena learned of while she was trying to find a way to succeed without the rest of her team.
