A Corellian named Jix infiltrates Darth Vader's castle on Coruscant, where he is given an assignment to travel to Corulag and assassinate Governor Torlock, who is about to defect to the Alliance, and make it look like Rebels did it. He travels to Corulag and infiltrates the palace, only to find the Governor's daughter Jirta riding in his speeder with a hologram of the governor, while other supposed "Rebels" try to kill him. After taking Jirta to a safe place, he makes his way into the palace dungeons and finds a human replica droid of the governor before he is ambushed by Admiral Droon and the Governor's daughter. As he and the fake governor escape through the tunnels below the palace, the droid explains that the real governor was being set up by Droon, and so had droids built to look like him and his daughter so that they could escape, not knowing that his own daughter was helping set him up. With full knowledge of the situation, Jix kills the real daughter, takes Droon captive and returns him to Darth Vader to kill and sets the droids free before moving on to his next assignment.
