While the rebels at Arbra are hiding the fleet, Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca are at Bazarre, meeting with Ferret about aquiring a few TIE Fighters. Using Ferret's ship, Luke and Lando are sent to Patch-4 while they leave Chewie behind to ensure their safety. Upon arriving at Patch-4, they find the TIEs almost immediately, but something finds them as well and they are forced to run and hide.Just when it seems like they will become worm food, a hand beckons them underground, and they escape at the last moment. Their rescuer explains that he and the rest of the hobos used to roam the surface of the planet until Ferret left his guard creature, Caeser. He explains that the creature is controlled by means of a sonic device located aboard Ferret's ship. In order to get their TIE Fighters, Caeser needs to be out of commission, so Lando distracts the creature while Luke retrieves the sonic device, activating it before Caeser can make a meal of Lando. The collect their TIEs, give the sonic device to the hobos, and return to Bazarre in time to prevent Chewie from separating Ferret's head from his body. Returning to Arbra, they are greeted by cheers and a celebratory party in their honor.
