The Rebels have come to Arbra in search of a new base. The scouting party makes camp for the night as the fleet moves out of contact. During the night C-3PO awakens to find one of the local hoojibs draining his energy. Raising the alarm, the rebels find that the hoojibs have drained most of their surplus energy, leaving them without communications or defenses. One of the hoojibs, named Plif, apologizes and explains that they feed on energy and their prime source of food is no longer available because it has been taken over by a creature called a Slivilith. The rebels and the hoojibs work together to kill the slivilith, and out of gratitude the hoojibs offer to share their home with the rebels. The search for a new base is over for now.
