Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia are transporting contraband medical supplies to a Rebel outpost when they are ambushed by an Imperial Star Destroyer. They fend off their attackers for long enough to jump to hyperspace but they take some damage that throws them off course. When they drop out of hyperspace they are outside the known galaxy and their freighter is captured by an unknown organic ship. On board the ship they find themselves facing an entity who is surprised to learn that they are real. It explains that it is the last surviving member of a race from another galaxy where they destroyed themselves with war. It returns them home where it encounters the Imperials, who promptly attack. Destroying it's attackers, it leaves to find a place where it doesn't have to deal with war anymore and can find peace of its own.
