After their escape from Darth Vader, Han Solo and Chewbacca experience issues that cause them to set down on Orleon for repairs. While there, they are assaulted by goons hired by Jabba the Hut. They discover that their hiding place is infested with stone mites, an insect that eats metal, and they employ several methods to clean them off before the blast through the ruined ceiling of the cavern to escape. As they leave the planet, Jabba begs them to help him escape from the mites himself and they do so in exchange for having their debts wiped clean.

A side note about this issue. This was published before Jabba the Hutt was introduced in Return Of the Jedi and therefore the Jabba in this issue bears no resemblance to the real Jabba. One possible explanation I have read is that this Jabba was hired by the real Jabba to impersonate him and hire the bounty hunters.
