While Han was helping farmers on Aduba-3, Luke was helping the Rebel Alliance scout for a planet for their new base. He disappeared, prompting Princess Leia to look for him, resulting in her capture by Crimson Jack. As Han leaves Aduba-3, he is again picked up by Crimson Jack who decides to kill him this time. Han bargains his way out of it by playing up his relationship to Leia, and the two convince Jack to take them to the Drexel system (where Luke is) by telling him that that's where the Rebellion stores its funds. Drexel is a water covered world where Luke is fighting for his life against a serpent when he is captured by Governor Quarg and his band of metal-starved hijackers. Luke is forced to work for Quarg under threat of the destruction of his droids, to help him defeat his enemies, the Dragon Lords. Meanwhile Crimson Jack arrives and his ship is immediately snared by Quarg's hijackers but it is a larger ship than they've attempted to capture in the past and their hardware isn't up to it. A huge battle breaks out on the planet as Han and Leia escape from Jack and land on the planet to rescue Luke. They all stop Quarg together, but as they try to leave, Jack tries to destroy them. Han explains that Jack can't destroy them because Han stole all his star charts and he'll be stranded, so they broker a deal that Jack tries to back out of. One of Jack's band has a change of heart and destroys his ship, and Han kills Jack when Jack tries to do the same to him. The team repairs the Millennium Falcon and continues on their way.
