Rogue Squadron has been sent to Mrlsst to buy a new stealth technology, but little does Wedge Antilles know that he will be bidding against the Empire as represented by Loka Hask. Hask is the man who destroyed Wedge's parents refueling station, killing them on it. As everything falls apart, Rogue Squadron discovers that the new technology they are trying to obtain doesn't exist, but there is an actual weapon that is far more deadly that they must obtain so that the Empire can't use it.
