An Imperial bioengineer named Dusque Mistflier and her Ithorian partner Tendau have been assigned to collect samples at an event on Naboo. While there, she is approached by a Rebel spy named Finn Darktrin because he needs her assistance in recovering a holocron containing a complete list of all Rebel spies that are undercover. At first she declines, but when her partner is killed by stormtroopers because he is apparently a Rebel agent, she agrees to help.

Many adventures lead them to the current Rebel base on Corellia where they are shot down and barely survive. Dusque meets Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker and is given the general location of the holocron on Dantooine. Upon arriving at Dantooine, Dusque finds herself falling for Finn as they travel on foot to find the holocron. They manage to find it and leave the planet while fighting off pirates and Imperials, and just when she thinks they are safe she experiences a betrayal that nearly costs her life.

As its name implies, this book is based on the Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). As such, it doesn't feature the main Star Wars characters, though many of them do make appearances. It is a well written story that explores the themes of trust and betrayal, as well as the motivations behind why people do what they do. Overall it's nice to have a story that is not about the same core characters yet again, and it was an enjoyable read.
