A nameless Imperial Stormtrooper is waiting with the soldiers ready to board the Tantive IV. While he is waiting to board, he reminisces about the events that brought him to this point. He comes to a decision that if he survives this next conflict, he will desert the army. He happens to survive the initial boarding and all goes well until he and another trooper corner Princess Leia. He gets shot in the face shortly before Princess Leia is stunned.
