After the Rebels escape from Hoth, but before they are tracked to Cloud City, a late bounty hunter shows up to throw his hand into the search. Unbeknownst to Vader or anyone else though, this bounty hunter isn't quite what he seems. He is actually a warrior from a planet that the Emperor made an example of. He has had many modifications made to his body with the express purpose of defeating Darth Vader. He almost succeeded as well, until Vader drew on the power of the Dark Side to destroy him.
