The Rebels are setting up their base on Hoth and supplies need to be ferried down from the fleet. Han Solo and Chewbacca volunteer to fly two transports down, and Princess Leia comes along to assist in navigation on Han's ship. They fly into a storm which causes Han's ship to crash, and he thinks that Chewie has gone down too. Leia saves his life after he tries to go find Chewie's ship, and they realize that there could be more between them than the previously thought.
