Shaela Nuur, Duron Qel-Droma and Guun Han are a Jedi team that hunts terentateks to eliminate the Sith creatures from the galaxy. After a successful hunt on Tatooine, they are assigned to one final location; Korriban. After spending a week on the planet trying to find a creature and fighting off the influence of the Dark Side, Shaela and Duron succumb to their passions. When confronted by Guun Han, they refuse to deny their love, so he leaves for Kashyyyk where he has heard of another creature. In his pride, he thinks he can take it by himself, but learns how wrong he is when his weapon breaks and the terentatek finishes him off. His death is felt by Duron on Korriban, but they feel they need to complete their mission. When they finally find a terentatek, Duron finds he is unable to confuse it like he did the other ones. Shaela injures it, but it kills Duron, who has a vision in his last moments of Revan wearing the Duron robe as he puts a stop to Darth Malak, which allows Duron to die in peace. In her grief and anger, Shaela hunts down the terentatek to finish it off, but before she can, her lightsaber fails because it is powered by a crystal that can only used by the pure light side of the Force.
