While Gryph is away, setting up a new job, Zayne manages to find a star-liner that went missing recently. Boarding it, they find everyone on board dead, except for one small Bimm who calls himself Toki and his droid. As they restore the ship to operating condition, Rohlan discovers that all the people on board were killed the same way: strangled. Just then, Zayne senses that Slyssk is in danger and they race to him, only to find that he is choking to death and only quick thinking saves his life. They come to the conclusion that Toki's droid is the one doing the killing and confront it, with Zayne cutting its hands off. It reveals that it wasn't the one doing the killing, it was just coering up for its master, who they left alone with Jarael. Hurrying back to her they arrive in time to stop Toki, who is using the Force to kill. He explains that he was a Sith Adept in Exar Kun's army and he just can't stop killing, he enjoys it too much. His droid arrives and restrains him, and then Rohlan destroys them. Later, as Zayne is talking to his droid Elbee, he comments on how everyone has secrets that they don't want anyone else to know about.
