Lost Tribe Of the Sith: Savior
John Jackson Miller
Lost Tribe Of the Sith: Savior
Cover Artist: Dave Stevenson
Twenty-five years after the Omen crashed on Kesh, Yaru Korsin is holding a celebration. During the celebration, both Adari Vaal and Seelah Devore are ruminating on their plans, Adari to overthrow the Sith and Seelah to kill Yaru. Later, Korsin's nephew Jariad requests permission to take the Sith Sabers to the Northern Reaches for a training mission, where they can concentrate. Later, Adari meets with her co-conspirators, the Neshtovar, and puts the final touches on their plan, which they will execute the next day, when Korsin goes to the Sith mountain temple to assist in the transfer of all medical supplies down to Tahv. The next day, when Korsin arrives at the temple, Seelah puts her own plan into motion. Jariad and his Sabers rush in to ambush Korsin's men, outnumbering them four to one, when the Sith's uvak all take flight, stolen by Adari's Keshiri. Using this as a distraction, Korsin attacks the Sabers while Adari leads her group of stolen uvak to meet up with other groups in the hopes that they will steal all the uvak and cripple the Sith's conquest. As Korsin and Jariad duel, Seelah gloats in her eventual victory until she hears the sound of uvak and sees her daughter with Korsin, Nida, arrive to assist her father. Nida had learned of the Keshiri plan to steal the uvaks and had done what she could to stop that and then brought her Skyborn Rangers to help out the father who was grooming her as his replacement. When everyone who was coming had arrived, and they learned of their betrayal at the hands of Adari's son, the Keshiri and their uvaks took to the skies where they would die, but some of them made it to a small refuge where they would be able to survive. With the battle in the temple finished, Seelah is unable to walk and Korsin is dead. Jariad has been thrown over the side by Nida, and the reading of the will of Korsin has named Nida as Grand Lord of the Sith. She has ordered that the temple of the Omen is to be cut off and never visited again, leaving Seelah alone and crippled for the rest of her life.
