The Old Republic: Revan (Chapters 17-29)

The Old Republic: Revan (Chapters 17-29)
Cover Artist: ATTIK
Meetra Surik, the Jedi Exile, and T3-M4 meet with Bastila Shan and her three year old son. T3 shows Bastila the end of Revan's journey on Nathema and how it took T3 several months to repair the Ebon Hawk and escape from the planet. With the conflict against Darth Traya and her followers finished, Meetra decides to take T3 and continue Revan's search, hopefully finding him in the process. Bastila agrees and gives Meetra a recording of her son to give to Revan, as well as his mask, which she had hidden from him for years. On Nathema, T3 found records of the people who had lived there, including the history of Lord Vitiate, who would go on to become the Sith Emperor. Hidden in the records were the directions to long lost Dromund Kaas, to where she promptly traveled. Arriving at Dromund Kaas, she posed as a mercenary looking for a particular Sith whose picture she had, culminating in a meeting with Lord Scourge. In the time between Scourge's capture of Revan and his meeting with Meetra, Revan had been a prisoner that Darth Nyriss had essentially forgotten about. Scourge continued with his interviews because Revan intrigued him. In one of their interviews, Revan claims that someone is coming to rescue him, so when Meetra asks to meet with him, he agrees. This meeting spurs him to actually do something about the Emperor, so he meets with the Emperor to tell him that most of the Dark Council is conspiring against him. The Emperor eradicates Nyriss' household, and Meetra and Scourge free Revan in the confusion. Meetra hands Revan his mask, which is the catalyst that restores all his memories, and then Revan destroys Nyriss using her own power against her. They regroup in a cave outside the city and plan their assault on the Emperor as Revan views the recording of his son. Scourge takes Revan, Meetra and T3 to the Emperor's palace, and they almost make it into the throne room before they are caught. They fight their way to the Emperor himself when Scourge has a vision of the three Force users dead on the floor in front of the Emperor. With Revan heavily injured, T3 destroyed, and the other two outclassed, Scourge makes a decision that will delay the Emperor's invasion of the Republic by around 300 years. He steps behind Meetra and kills her, allowing the Emperor to capture Revan and put him in stasis. His reward is to be made the Emperor's Wrath and be granted immortality like the Emperor, that way he will be around to stop the Emperor when the right time comes. Meanwhile, Meetra chose not to fade into the Force so she could provide comfort and support to Revan in his imprisonment, until the right time comes.
