As Naga Sadow prepares for conquest and attempts to turn Gav Daragon to the dark side, Jori Daragon arrives with a warning at the Korus system. Upon landing, she is arrested and convicted for her crimes on leaving the system in the first place. She is sent to a prison colony where she promptly escapes to return and warn Empress Teta. Teta prepares for the invasion while her advisor Memitt Nedill goes to Coruscant to warn the Jedi there. Sadow's troops arrive in Republic space and he sends one group to the Korus system under the command of Gav while he sends the rest to Coruscant. Meanwhile he retreats in his meditation sphere to create the illusions necessary to overbear the Coruscanti defenders. With the battle in full swing in the Korus system, Gav leaves to find his sister. He tracks her to Aarrba the Hutt's repair dock, but his Massassi guards kill Aarrba as Jori arrives there. He flees quickly and Jori gives chase with the Empress' fleet following. Gav reaches Primus Goluud, where Sadow is hiding and attacks, breaking Sadow's concentration and allowing Coruscant to fight off its invaders. Sadow convinces Gav to join him on the meditation sphere, but when Gav arrives he notices that Sadow is gone to the ship Gav was on and he is now stuck there. Sadow gathers his fleet together at Primus Goluud, where they are confronted by Empress Teta's fleet. Using the Force to disrupt the unstable star, he causes it to explode, killing Gav Daragon but allowing himself to escape to Sith space. On getting there, he discovers that Ludo Kressh has overthrown him in his absence, so he commands one of his ships to ram Kressh's ship, killing him. Just then, the Republic forces arrive and start destroying the remainder of Sadow's forces, causing him to use his forces as a distraction while he escapes towards the Denarii nova. He uses the Force to cause an explosion that makes it look like he has been destroyed, while he retreats to the small moon of a gas giant that will later be known as Yavin, where he intends to rebuild. Back in the Koros system, which will later become known as the Empress Teta system, Jori Daragon receives aid from Teta to rebuild Aarrba's repair yard and reopens in the memory of all the people she's lost.
