Acting on a message that significant veins of baradium have been found on the world of Chelloa, Jedi Knights Vannar Treece and Kerra Holt lead a mission deep into Sith space to rescue as many Chelloans as they can and to deny the Sith the use of the baradium. Shortly after they arrive though, the Sith Lord Odion arrives as well. Using Kinetic Corruptors, his plan is to ignite the baradium still in the planets crust and destroy it so his brother Lord Daiman is unable to use it as well. Thanks to the intervention of the Jedi, Odion is only partially successful. He is only able to ignite a small portion, but that portion is sufficient to kill all the Jedi except Vannar and Kerra, and while Vannar is distracted, Odion kills him as well. As the Chelloan slaves and Kerra recover, Daiman arrives and confronts the leader of the slaves, Gorlan Palladane. Later, Kerra sneaks into Daiman's mountain top palace to learn what Daiman's plans are for Chelloa, and learns that Odion is preparing to return and finish his attack, this time with more kinetic corruptors. Stealing one of the Sith fighter ships, she joins Daiman's small attack force and assaults Odions munitions factory, the Spike. During the battle she boards the Spike, hoping to learn how many kinetic corruptors are being sent, but when she is unsuccessful she vents the hangar that Odion is in to space, hoping to kill him. As she prepares again to try and kill Odion, she intercepts a transmission that indicates Palladane is now a prisoner of Daiman, who thinks he was betrayed to Odion by Palladane. Abandoning her attempts to kill Odion, she returns to Chelloa to try and rescue him, and Odion decides to attempt to capture the planet rather than destroy it. Returning to Chelloa, Kerra rescues first Palladane's family, then the city leaders, and finally Palladane himself before decapitating all of Daiman's statues as a slap to his face. At Palladane's urging, she remembers her original mission to rescue as many people as possible, and Palladane decides to step back into his Jedi heritage and help her. As Odion launches his assault on Chelloa, he learns that it was all a trap and Daiman's plan was to use kinetic corruptors to kill him and his forces. Kerra succeeds in rescuing all the slaves on the planet before it is destroyed, but is forced to face off against Odion. before odion can finish it though, he is forced into the thrusters of the ship they are riding by Palladane. This kills Palladane and seriously injures Odion, who plots his revenge against both Daiman and Kerra as he recovers. As for Kerra, she decides to continue her mission of rescuing Sith slaves, and starts on the Daimanate world of Nilash.
