The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance

The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance
Cover Artist: ATTIK
Ten years after the signing of the Treaty Of Coruscant, people from all walks of life are trying to make a successful life in the tentative peace. For a few, that life is about to be disrupted in ways they can't possibly imagine. A privateer named Jet Nebula discovers a ship that promptly destroys itself rather than be captured, and the remains are taken to be auctioned to the highest bidder by the Hutts. The Republic sends a diplomat named Ula Vii to bargain for the prize against the Sith Empire's delegation, headed by the Sith apprentice Eldon Ax. Her main objective is to steal the remains before the Jedi team of padawan Shigar Konshi and soldier Larin Moxla. As the confrontation between the Sith, the Jedi and a Mandalorian named Dao Stryver heats up, a small group of advanced droids with amazing adaptive abilities show up in the middle of everything and begin trying to kill everything around them. The droids are defeated, but not before a section of the Hutt palace is reduced to rubble. Independently tracking the source of the droids, all interested parties arrive at a small world orbiting a black hole, where a three way battle ensues between the droids, the Republic and the Sith. On the verge of annihilation, Stryver persuades Sith and Jedi to work together to defeat the droid menace, and they reluctantly agree. After a significant battle in space and on the surface, Ax is given the key to controlling the droids. She uses them to kill her master and then convinces them to destroy themselves, resolving the current situation. After a standoff, everyone disperses to their respective areas of space, preparing for the war that is coming, sooner or later.
