After Darth Krayt's disastrous attempt to turn Cade Skywalker to the Dark Side, he enters stasis because of his weakness. Darth Wyyrlok embarks on a mission to the deep core to learn Darth Andeddu's secrets of power over life and death. After arriving at Andeddu's fortress on Prakith and fighting his way to the tomb, he is confronted by the reanimated body of Darth Andeddu himself. After dueling him in their minds, Andeddu is defeated and destroyed and Wyyrlok leaves with the information he sought, reflecting that Krayt's doubt is what weakens him.
