Legacy Of the Force: Bloodlines

Boba Fett meets with his doctor and the specialists on Kamino to learn that he is dying. His body is failing and there is nothing that they can do to help him since Ko Sai and Taun We have disappeared. Meanwhile, the leader of the Corellian government, Thrackan Sal-Solo puts out a contract on Han Solo's entire family which spurs Han to finally decide to do something about him. On Coruscant, tempers are flaring high as Corellian terrorist attacks prompt the government to create an anti-terrorism unit called the Galactic Alliance Guard. Funtioning as a secret police force and led by Jacen Solo, they begin by interring and forcibly deporting any Corellians that they can find. While tracking down Taun We, Fett encounters a young woman named Mirta Gev who possesses an artifact of his long dead wife, and he decides to track down his estranged daughter Ailyn before he dies and so takes Mirta with him because she happens to know where to find her. In a raid on Coruscant, a bounty hunter named Ailyn Habuur is captured and interrogated. Fearing that her target is Chief of State Cal Omas, Jacen uses the Force to attempt to get the truth out of her using very dark techniques, which results in her death. After Boba Fett tracks down Taun We and takes all her cloning data, he is offered a contract from Thrackan to defend Centerpoint Station. Saying he'll think about it, he takes a contract from Dur Gejjen to kill Thrackan and then finds Han Solo with the intent of using him as bait to find his daughter. Han agrees to help him if Fett helps him get close enough to kill Thrackan. Fett agrees, and disguising Han as a Mandalorian commando, they set up a meeting with Thrackan. During the meeting, Thrackan is shot by Fett, Han and Mirta and they escape easily, allowing a coup to take place. Han and Leia contact Jacen to get Ailyn released and learn that Jacen killed her, so they ask him to bring them her body. Fett learns that his daughter was killed by Jacen, but forgoes the option to take revenge because he sees what is happening to Jacen and understands that what the Solo family will experience will be worse than anything that he could do to them. Plagued by dreams, Jacen is informed by Lumiya that his final test to become a Sith will be killing someone he loves and so he begins deciding who it is that he will kill.
