This small interlude story follows the exploits of one small squad of stormtroopers as they are sent to deal with forces that have defected to Emperor Roan Fel. The newest member of the squad learns the importance of teamwork and of protecting each other. The Sith Lord Maleval leads them into battle and takes a perverse pleasure in forcing them to be more brutal than necessary, and the end he dies because the troopers stand up for one another.
