Tag & Bink are two hapless Rebel troopers who are stationed on the Tantive IV at the time the Devastator arrives to retrieve the Death Star Plans. They hide from the battle, only to be captured by Stormtroopers, who they then knock out in order to take their armor and go into hiding. They arrive at the Death Star and promptly steal TIE Pilot uniforms and a couple of TIE Fighters in order to escape to Alderaan. On their way to the planet, it is destroyed by the Death Star, and the Millennium Falcon arrives. A miscommunication caused by Han Solo jamming transmissions causes them to escort the Falcon back to the Death Star, where they are greeted as heroes for bringing in the Rebels. Next they are given duty for guarding the tractor beam emplacement holding the Falcon in place. Failure there causes them to be sent to their quarters, but they ditch their Stormtrooper uniforms for TIE uniforms again. Before they can make their escape, they're collared by Darth Vader to assist him in taking out the Rebel fighters. Before you know it, the Death Star is destroyed, and they are left floating in the wreckage. Or so it appears.
