Jar Jar Binks is in an elected office thanks to his lovable shenanigans. Everything he does would be political suicide if anyone else did it. He even needs people to tell him how to vote on bills. Re-election comes again and he wins by a landslide, thanks to his antics. Upon winning, one of his advisors suggests that he come and listen to a proposal from someone who turns out to be Darth Sidious. Jar Jar then shows his true colors. Apparently all of his antics, mannerisms and shenanigans were all a big show. Darth Sidious and his representative bow down before Jar Jar Binks.
