Jar Jar Binks' father, George R. Binks is a whaler like his entire family before him. He chose to marry a person who could give him a son rather than the person he loved, and the result was Jar Jar Binks. The family is out on the ocean whaling, and George leaves the steering in the hands of his son, who gets the ship destroyed. The end up stranded on a deserted island, where George is willing to kill himself, just to get away from his son.
